Trying to write something that isn’t too generic for my first blog post is a bit of a challenge, because I didn’t want to start it off with: “Hey, welcome to my blog”. But that will have to do, because that’s the best I can think of at the moment.
As you can probably tell, this is my first personal blog post, so I am going to be learning how to do it well enough to keep it going (fingers crossed). I have written a few blogs in the past, for university projects, but it didn’t turn out very well, which you can probably find somewhere with a quick Google search, if I haven’t already deleted it because I can’t remember if I had.
Just a little about me, as I mentioned I have been to university, studying film and television for four years, which included a foundation year (I started a few years later compared to the rest of the people who were in my year at school), and I recieved my results about a month ago, where I actually passed. I recently managed to get a job as a support worker, as I do have experience in the field where I did it on the weekends while I was at university, but since there is nothing else that fits my degree at the moment and lots of people going for the same openings due to the coronavirus, the job seems like the best option during this time. Fortunately, they stated that most of the time I would be working mainly three days a week, while covering shifts on other days, so it’s not too bad. With this, I do want to keep my options open and one day, hopefully, move to another country, possibly Australia since I have citizenship for there.
If you’ve read this far, thank you, and if you have any pointers on how to improve, that would be amazing. Just contact me through email or on this post would be great. Also, if there are any topics that I should cover, again just contact me. Thanks again for reading, and I hope to see you again in a later post!
