All I can say is that the weather over the weekend was a lot better for me to deal with, then the previous days. (You can probably tell I’m British by how much I talk about the weather in these posts.) Seriously though, I know a lot of my friends prefer summer but it’s too much for me.
Besides the weather, I was visiting my dad since it’s my birthday this week, and then I’m with my mum on the actual day. It’s like I never actually left to go to university, it’s like it was before (just without the coronavirius). But it was great seeing my dad, brother and grandad again, because if there is a second wave of the virus and another lockdown, I won’t be able to see them for a while.
It’s honestly going to be different celebrating it this year, as I’m trying to figure out what I really want to do after education, while having a job that will help me give me the time to get the career I will be happy in. Hopefully it will happen sooner rather then later, as it would be great to use my degree.
Apart from my birthday, I have mandatory training with the client for work this week and will be meeting the rest of team who I’d be working with It will get some used to as I want to keep up a good impression, as I want to do the job well and I hope they would want to work with me to get the best results for the client. After this, it was suggested that I would start working next week, just for the evenings then progressing to full days, so at least that is something to keep me busy.
I hope you’ve all had a great weekend, and that your week is fulfilling for you, especially in these strange times and as lockdown seems to be easing (fingers crossed). I’ll hopefully see you in the next post, so until then, thank you for reading so far!
