It’s Monday evening and I start my first day of shadowing at work tomorrow. I’m slightly nervous as it is a new place, but I’m really looking forward to it actually, as I know this will help me during this weird time. Plus, I have enjoyed the job in the past, even though it might not be what I had planned for after university, and I’m glad I have this to fall back on.

In my previous post, I said that I was going to set up Central Perk in the television show, Friends (Lego style) over the weeked, and I finished it! (It’s on my Instagram page if you want to check that out.) I wasn’t too sure what to expect as I wasn’t really into Lego when I was younger, but I really enjoyed it and it was amazing to see the end result, surprisingly. It took a few hours over 3-4 days, since the small pieces were really fiddly, and I never thought I had that much patience. (I should probably state that I am in my mid-twenties :’).)

For the rest of the week, I’m planning on finishing my yoga challenge, where I’ve only got 4 more days to do, and I didn’t give up after 2 days – which sounds like me. I’m also going to fix my phone screen sometime later this week, as I dropped it (I think, I don’t really remember) during a night out before lockdown, so my phones has been like this for a good 6 months or more.
